The Benjamin School Buccaneers Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids created 50 Valentine’s Day goodie bags for foster children, with students dedicating part of their school day to spreading love and joy.
Ready to Learn
Aysel E., a dedicated STUDENT advocate at FAU High School, launched the "Ready to Learn" project to support foster kids' educational needs. She filled 6 large bags with essential educational tools like headphones and notebooks, along with 45 mini bags containing pencils, erasers, inspirational quotes, and stickers. The Atlantic Eagles Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids united to create 25 cozy no-sew blankets and thoughtful gift bags specifically for teenagers in foster care. These acts of kindness provide much-needed comfort and encouragement, showing foster teens that they are supported and valued.
