200 Ornaments
The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids handcrafted 200 ornaments, including 100 personalized ones, to brighten the holiday season for foster kids. Additionally, they donated extra school supply goodie bags from a previous project. These students poured their hearts into creating magical moments, showing foster children that they are cherished and supported. STEMinist Snowflakes
The STEMinists from The Spanish River Shark Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids hosted a creative table where kids painted and decorated snowflakes made from salt, glue, and paint. They also recruited more girls for their STEMinist project, a group initiative where members of the STEMinist club at Spanish River High School meet monthly with young girls to teach science, technology, engineering, and math, while also fostering confidence-building skills. Atlantic Eagles STUDENTS Create 125 Books and Beauty Bags for Foster Kids at Wrap Party
The Atlantic Eagles Charter School for SUFK hosted a wrap party led by Daniel, Izzy and Ryanna. During the party they created 125 books, 37 beauty bags and various homemade cards and ornaments during their wrap party to help serve local foster kids.
Carnival Games and Toy Drive
The Palm Beach Central Bronco Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, led by Chapter Leader Nathea Masse, brought joy to foster kids by hosting a table full of carnival games and holiday-themed activities, including Snowball Cornhole, Create Your Own Ornament, and Decorate Your Own Stocking. They also organized a toy drive within their chapter and gave out those toys as prizes for the games! Oxbridge STUDENT Creates Conversational Tips Series for Foster Youth Transitioning to Adulthood
Ethan Miller from Oxbridge Academy developed a Conversational Tips Series for the Speak Up for Kids' Life Skills Portal, helping foster youth transitioning to adulthood. His efforts, including writing articles and creating videos were a part of his Prōject Rising Voice initiative.
