On October 21st, our Warriors Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids at Jupiter High School hosted an incredible bracelet-making and goodie bag-assembling initiative, led by Maryam Alrekabi and Danielle Day, which drew in the participation of 14 students! Together, this inspiring group created 18 bracelets with encouraging words, like “Brave” and “You Matter”, for children in the Palm Beach County foster care system. Additionally, lots of goody bags were put together and filled with Halloween candies and treats!
The Jupiter High School Warriors’ SUFK Student Chapter exemplifies the strength and impact of high school community service programs, especially for the foster care system. Before every meeting, this group plays an informative video to remind members and the community their mission and what motivates them to support foster children. They reached 40 people with their message!
