A Gift-A-Birthday Outreach! 30 Gift Boxes Assembled for Foster Children

The FASC District 5 Student Government Associations in conjunction with the Palm Beach Central Broncos Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids gathered nearly 300 students and their advisers to participate in the Box-A-Birthday initiative for children in the foster care system in Palm Beach County.

#CommunitySpirit

Not only did these students put together 30 gift boxes with delicious sweets and fun goodies for children in the Palm Beach County foster care system, showcasing their generosity and compassion, they also learned about the mission of Speak Up for Kids to how to be a voice for children in the Palm Beach County foster care system. The project was a huge success, thanks to supply donations from Palm Beach Central students and the hard work in organizing, wrapping boxes, and distributing materials. Students left feeling motivated to join the online initiative where 60 students signed up to be a volunteer! The chapter’s efforts illustrate the joyous and widespread impact of youth advocacy in foster care!

Their dedication in spreading SUFK’s mission and giving back to our community reflect the core of STUDENTS Speak Up For Kids.
