Cross Country Team & Leader Bring Halloween Joy to Foster Kids through Teamwork
A special shout-out goes to Ethan Miller, who, along with 10 cross country teammates and 8 other dedicated members of The Oxbridge Thunderwolves Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, came together to make a difference this Halloween. Their team organized and assembled 30 thoughtful gift bags for foster children, ensuring that these kids felt included and celebrated during the holiday. Each team member brought their unique skills to the project—whether it was designing, organizing supplies, or putting together the bags—making the event not only successful but also deeply meaningful. Their efforts displayed the power of collaboration and highlighted what young leaders can achieve when they work together with a shared purpose.
This Halloween project, under Ethan's leadership, was a testament to the compassion and commitment of these students. Beyond providing holiday treats, they showed these foster kids that they are valued, seen, and supported by their community. Their initiative reinforced a strong sense of unity and care, reminding everyone involved of the impact of simple, thoughtful acts of kindness. By joining forces for this cause, the cross country players and chapter members demonstrated the essence of teamwork and set an inspiring example of what young people can accomplish through generosity and dedication.
