Young Leaders Unite to Bring Halloween Cheer to Foster Kids

A special shout-out to Louisa Swank who led The Benjamin School Buccaneer Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids. Over 25 students came together to make a significant impact this Halloween by creating 96 goodie bags for foster children. The project showcased their leadership, as students took initiative to organize supplies, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively to meet their goal. Each student contributed unique skills, from coordinating logistics to designing the bags, which brought the team closer and reinforced a strong sense of community. Their collective efforts ensured that foster children felt seen, valued, and celebrated during the holiday. This act of service not only brightened the children’s Halloween but also taught students the power of teamwork and compassionate leadership. Their success serves as an inspiring reminder of what can be achieved when young leaders work together for a meaningful cause.
