Service and Social Society STUDENTS Create Bracelets and Color with Foster Kids at Storybook Village
Service and Social Society STUDENTS volunteered at Storybook Village, making bracelets and coloring with foster kids. Through their heartfelt interactions, they helped create a safe space for foster kids to express themselves creatively, fostering a sense of belonging and joy during the event.
STEMinist Snowflakes
The STEMinists from The Spanish River Shark Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids hosted a creative table where kids painted and decorated snowflakes made from salt, glue, and paint. They also recruited more girls for their STEMinist project, a group initiative where members of the STEMinist club at Spanish River High School meet monthly with young girls to teach science, technology, engineering, and math, while also fostering confidence-building skills. This initiative not only brought holiday cheer but also empowered young girls with valuable STEM education and self-confidence. #steminist #fostercare #holidayseason #communityservice #studentspeakupforkids #spanishriversharks #spanishriverhighschool
