The West Boca High School Bulls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids planted a pinwheel garden to honor Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each pinwheel symbolizes a child’s right to a safe, nurturing environment, free from abuse and neglect. Oxbridge Students Lead Child Abuse Prevention Week: Engaging 450 Teachers and Students in Advocacy and Awareness

Ethan Miller from the Oxbridge Thunderwolves Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids led a successful Child Abuse Prevention Week, reaching 450 teachers and students! The week included awareness activities, a pinwheel garden, informative presentations, daily announcements, and a school-wide blue day to honor child abuse prevention efforts. Benjamin School STUDENTS Reach 650 with Presentation on Child Abuse Prevention

Louisa Swank, Ava Crawford, and Gianna Demerski from The Benjamin School Buccaneers Chapter of Students Speak Up for Kids reached 650 students and staff with a presentation on breaking the cycle of child abuse, abandonment, and neglect. They also decorated the courtyard with a pinwheel garden, distributed blue ribbons, and encouraged students to wear blue in support of child abuse prevention.
