One primary goal of Speak Up for Kids is to teach more about advocacy and awareness. These students have volunteered their time, effort and energy to learn more about how to advocate for children in the foster care system , how to engage volunteers, how to create awareness on social media, as well as understand the inner workings of a program that works to be a voice for these children. In the first year of our program both Kristina Costello (Chved) and Alisha Motiwala completed internships.
