Wrapped in Kindness: Atlantic Eagles Support Foster Teens with Comfort Items

Cecilia Welter and the Atlantic Eagles Chapter made a meaningful impact by organizing Cozy Comfort for Foster Teens, a heartfelt initiative aimed at providing warmth and comfort to teens in foster care.

With 20 students participating, this project brought together caring individuals who wanted to make a difference. By assembling and donating cozy essentials, they helped ensure that foster teens felt supported, valued, and cared for, especially during times of transition.

Why This Matters

Many foster teens face uncertainty and challenges that can make them feel isolated. Simple gestures, like receiving a comfort item, can serve as a reminder that they are not alone and that people in their community care about them. Providing warmth through thoughtful donations can help bring a sense of security and encouragement to those who need it most.

How You Can Help

At STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, we believe in spreading kindness and support to youth in foster care. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Donate cozy items such as blankets, socks, and personal care items for foster teens.

  • Organize a comfort drive to help provide essentials to those in need.

  • Join or start a chapter to lead service projects that offer support and encouragement to foster youth.

Thank you to Cecilia Welter and the Atlantic Eagles Chapter for leading this thoughtful initiative and helping to bring comfort to foster teens.

Share this story to inspire others to support foster youth in their communities.
